Through data analysis, Q&A can probe perceptions of certain situations by different groups of individuals. For example, looking at perceptions of people working within two companies that have recently merged, to determine convergence or divergence in thinking.

Another example, could be to compare service providers' views with service users' views by identifying gaps in perception, and determining areas that need to be addressed to improve service quality. In the figure below, a gap can be observed between consultancy providers and users of consultancy providers in relation to performance (the statements to the left of the figure).
